Accurate quantification of complex tryptic peptide mixtures prior to LC-MS analysis remains a major bottleneck in proteomics sample preparation. Conventional protein quantification assays (such as the standard BCA assay) often exhibit insufficient sensitivity or strong composition-dependent bias toward specific peptide sequences, ultimately compromising quantitative accuracy and reproducibility. The detection mechanism is specifically designed to respond to the amide backbone of peptides, enabling uniform and reliable performance with complex enzymatic digests such as tryptic peptide mixtures. The kit is also compatible with commonly labeled peptide samples, including TMT-tagged peptides, making it an ideal solution for pre-LC-MS loading normalization.

Note: Not recommended for quantifying single synthetic peptides due to composition-dependent signal variation.
