However, Temperature is often neglected in the process of chromatographic separation, but it has an indispensable influence on separation efficiency, reproducibility and stability of detection results.

Product Overview

1. Temperature Range

Capable of providing a stable operating temperature of up to 90°C, meeting the requirements for various column formats available on the market. The heating rate reaches up to 2°C/min. At room temperature, it usually reaches 60°C in 15 minutes, and the precision temperature setting is completed before reaching the preset temperature to achieve precise control of the preset temperature.

 

2. Uniformity

Built with an aluminum alloy frame for fast and stable thermal conductivity. The internal chamber features multiple heating modules to provide uniform heat distribution, ensuring consistent heating performance. The temperature sensing adopts high-precision platinum thermal resistance, which has the advantages of fast reaction and high accuracy. This ensures stable and uniform temperature across different positions inside the column heater chamber.

 

3. Stability

The Nano LC-MS column heaters consists of the column housing, a low-voltage power supply, and a temperature controller. The low-voltage power design ensures operational safety. The high-precision temperature controller, managed by a microcomputer, regulates multiple high-power heating modules within the chamber, maintaining temperature fluctuation within ±0.1°C. In continuous operation tests over a 2-year period, the device consistently met performance requirements for stability and precision.

 

4. Durability and Reliability

The Nano LC-MS column heaters is constructed entirely from aluminum alloy and equipped with a magnetically attached acrylic cover. It incorporates multiple industrial-grade high-temperature ceramic heating sheets and original German high-precision platinum thermal resistance to ensure stable operation of high temperatures for a long time. The composition of the low-voltage output power supply and thermostat uses a proportional-integral-Derivative (PID) control algorithm to adjust the heating output to achieve long-term precise control.

 

5. Ease of Use

Features a hybrid interface of buttons and mechanical knobs, along with a dual-row three-digit digital display that simultaneously shows measured and set temperatures, operational status, and fault alerts. The rotary switch design allows quick power toggling, and a prominent green power indicator light makes it easy for users to monitor the working status of the instrument.

 

6. Safety

Equipped with over-temperature alarm and protection features, the system automatically triggers an alert and cuts off heating output when the temperature exceeds the preset safety threshold, preventing overheating. It also includes a self-diagnostic function capable of detecting and displaying system faults, enabling timely troubleshooting. The all-aluminum enclosure provides a certain level of water and dust resistance, protecting internal circuitry from environmental damage. The column heater adopts a full aluminum alloy frame design, with built-in ceramic heating modules featuring dry-burn protection. The heating process generates no electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for use in environments requiring electromagnetic compatibility.

 

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

The sealed design offers moisture and dust resistance. No maintenance is required during routine use.

 

8. Environmental Compatibility

The device is suitable for standard laboratory conditions. It is recommended to operate the equipment within a stable temperature range of 18°C to 28°C. Relative humidity should be maintained between 40% and 70% (non-condensing). Excessive humidity may cause corrosion or damage to electronic components, while low humidity may lead to electrostatic issues. It is advised to use an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to ensure stable voltage output.
